The series "Hidden Lakes" is a collection of photographs of some of the last remaining local native Oak Grove that had been developed into Hidden Lakes Park in Diablo Valley, California. The idea of developing parks as "nature getaways" is ironic as its development involves the displacement of the natural order of the native landscape. The contemporary definition of nature however, does not rely entirely on the notion of the synthetic versus the natural. Nature is a continuous flow of ideal disposition.
